The AI ​​continues to learn based on user behavior. Over time, the predictions should better reflect the user’s writing style. Those who are not satisfied with the predictions can also switch off the function completely.

According to Microsoft, the privacy of the position is well organized: employees of the company do not have access to the data with which the algorithm is trained. Moreover, the data would not reach business users outside their company.

The predictions are currently only available in English. Earlier, Microsoft already added the function to the Outlook mail program. Competitor Google Docs has had text predictions for some time.
